LEGAL

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 16, 2026

1. Who we are

Big Local Card (“Big Local Card,” “we,” “us”) is a shared direct-mail advertising service operated by [Legal Entity Name] in Rhode Island. You can reach us at hello@biglocalcard.com. By reserving a spot you agree to these terms.

2. What we provide

We sell advertising placements (“spots”) on a shared 9×12" direct-mail postcard (“card”) mailed to a defined ZIP code / market. Each card is shared by several local businesses. As a rule, we place only one business per category on a given card.

3. Reserving and paying for a spot

Spots are first come, first served. A spot is not held until payment is completed through our online checkout, which is processed by Stripe. Availability shown on the site can change as reservations come in. The price you pay is the price shown on the placement at the time you complete checkout.

4. Your ad content

You are responsible for the accuracy of your ad and for having the rights to everything in it (logos, images, offers, claims). By submitting artwork or ad details, you give us permission to print and mail them as part of the card. We may decline or request changes to content that is unlawful, misleading, or inappropriate.

5. Artwork and deadlines

To be included in a specific mailing, your artwork and details must be submitted by the cutoff for that mailing (generally mid-month for the following month’s drop). If we do not receive what we need by the cutoff, we will place you in the next available mailing.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. No guarantee of results

Direct mail is a marketing channel, not a guaranteed outcome. We do not promise any specific number of responses, calls, customers, or sales from a mailing.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a placement is limited to the amount you paid for that placement.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
